What you will learn
The goal is a clear overview, safe first decisions, and practical first aid measures you can actually use.
- How to assess a situation quickly and safely
- How and when to call for help in Switzerland (144, 145, 112)
- How to respond to choking, breathing problems, fever seizures, burns, falls, and poisoning
- CPR basics for babies and children, including AED fundamentals
- How to manage wounds, bleeding, and common accidents at home or outside
- How to stay calm and communicate clearly in stressful situations
Who this course is for
This course is suitable for parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, and anyone who regularly spends time with babies and children. No previous knowledge is required.
Practical course format
Optional pre-learning is available, but currently only in German.
The course combines short theory inputs with hands-on practice. You will train on realistic models, work through practical examples, and leave with a clearer structure for real-life emergencies involving babies and children.
If you want, you can complete a short pre-learning module before the course. This pre-learning is currently only available in German and is optional for the English format.
