What you will learn
You will practise assessing an emergency and taking the first steps to help.
- How to assess a situation quickly and safely
- How and when to call for help in Switzerland (144, 145, 112)
- How to respond to choking, breathing problems, fever seizures, burns, falls, and poisoning
- CPR basics for babies and children, including AED fundamentals
- How to manage wounds, bleeding, and common accidents at home or outside
- How to stay calm and communicate clearly in stressful situations
Practical course format
The course combines short explanations with practical exercises. You will practise on training models and work through examples of emergencies involving babies and children.
Requirements and completion
Minimum age 16. No previous first aid knowledge is required. The full course is delivered in English.
You will receive a certificate of attendance for your records.
